For your information Patriots…Beretta is in a similar position like Magpul where if Maryland passes a bunch of new firearm legislation Beretta wants to find a new home. I’m sure Texas or Arizona would welcome them with open arms. They introduced several new guns at the 2013 Shot show some of which looked all black and scary. More and more businesses like Beretta are starting to realize why stay in a place and support a tax base that doesn’t support he products you offer? Even the 92FS which is widely known by every U.S. soldier would be limited to 10 rounds since it carries a 13 round magazine.

Jeffrey Reh, general counsel of Beretta responded: “Why expand in a place where the people who built the gun couldn’t buy it?”

They have a factory along the Potomac River in the town of Accokeek with over 300 jobs at stake if something does happen not to mention the tax and revenue base. Reh also hinted at what happened back in the 1990’s when gun restrictions hit Maryland. Afterwards, Beretta responded by moving its warehouse operations to Virginia.

Take note Liberals. Companies like Beretta and Magpul don’t bluff.

Stay informed Patriots!

Magpul as you all know is under fire from house bill 1224 and threatening to leave the state of Colorado if the bill passes. They produce high capacity magazines and various other parts for firearms. I have never owned a bad Magpul item they are all high quality pieces at a decent price. I am only worried that if the bill does pass and Magpul has to leave what that will do to the inflation in price and shortage of these already scarce magazines and parts. If it does pass, I hope that Magpul keeps to its word and gets the heck out of dodge.

Magpul’s COO , Doug Smith, has personal stated: “If we’re able to stay in Colorado and manufacture a product, but law-abiding citizens of the state were unable to purchase the product, customers around the state and the nation would boycott us for remaining here.”

The current bill is set to ban magazines over 15 rounds, the company has some 200 workers and another 400 suppliers and contractors would be affected by the move to a different location and state. Representatives of the state say there is no reason to move but I beg to differ. If you are from Colorado or support Magpul and their products do your best to contact these representatives and tell them what you think. Magpul generates approximately 85 million in revenue for the state of Colorado.

In addition, Colorado democrats hold a 37-28 majority in the Hour and a 20-15 majority in the Senate. Not all Democrats are on board with the bill but still.

Magpul has release several statements on their Facebook site:
