GunUp
Month Day, Year
Dear ___________

Due to the large number of anti-gun and anti-Second Amendment initiatives that have been passed or proposed in states like New York and Colorado, GunUp will apply all state and federal laws (as applied to civilians) to all state and local government agencies and officers. To put it simply, we will limit all sales of firearms and magazines to only what law abiding citizens may possess in their state, county, or city.

"GunUp believes that all citizens should have the same rights under the Second Amendment," said Vice President Caleb Giddings. "Unfortunately, some politicians don’t agree, and as such we will not sell firearms, magazines, or accessories to any LE agency or officer in states where those items are prohibited to law abiding citizens."
GunUp will continue to support law abiding citizens in ban states to the best of our ability, and will continue to offer fair prices on guns and gear to those citizens.

For your information Patriots…Beretta is in a similar position like Magpul where if Maryland passes a bunch of new firearm legislation Beretta wants to find a new home. I’m sure Texas or Arizona would welcome them with open arms. They introduced several new guns at the 2013 Shot show some of which looked all black and scary. More and more businesses like Beretta are starting to realize why stay in a place and support a tax base that doesn’t support he products you offer? Even the 92FS which is widely known by every U.S. soldier would be limited to 10 rounds since it carries a 13 round magazine.

Jeffrey Reh, general counsel of Beretta responded: “Why expand in a place where the people who built the gun couldn’t buy it?”

They have a factory along the Potomac River in the town of Accokeek with over 300 jobs at stake if something does happen not to mention the tax and revenue base. Reh also hinted at what happened back in the 1990’s when gun restrictions hit Maryland. Afterwards, Beretta responded by moving its warehouse operations to Virginia.

Take note Liberals. Companies like Beretta and Magpul don’t bluff.

The wifey got me some cool gear for Valentine’s day and I’ve been dying to try it out. She got me a Condor chest rig and a UTG Shoulder Holster. You can see the chest rig in the picture below. I was using it to haul around my Sig and Ruger pistols and the magazines. I was also breaking out my H&K MP5 SD I got for Christmas. Future reviews to come.

By my last count seven companies have joined the fight for our 2nd Amendment in light of the recent bills passed in New York. Hopefully many others will join the fight so that the entire industry can ban together similar to what happened at the Eastern Sports and Outdoor Show.

Effective today, in an effort to see that no legal mistakes are made by LaRue Tactical and/or its employees, we will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to state and local law enforcement / government agencies.

List by my last count

  • LaRue Tactical
  • Olympic Arms
  • Extreme Firepower
  • Templar Custom
  • York Arms
  • CMMG

Here is a statement from Olympic Firearms

“Legislation recently passed in the State of New York outlaws the AR15 and many other firearms, and will make it illegal for the good and free citizens of New York to own a large selection of legal and safe firearms and magazines. We feel as though the passage of this legislation exceeds the authority granted to the government of New York by its citizens, and violates the Constitution of the United States

Due the passing of this legislation, Olympic Arms would like to announce that the State of New York, any Law Enforcement Departments, Law Enforcement Officers, First Responders within the State of New York, or any New York State government entity or employee of such an entity – will no longer be served as customers.

Olympic Arms invites all firearms manufacturers, distributors and firearms dealers to join us in this action to refuse to do business with the State of New York. We must stand together, or we shall surely fall divided.”

LaRue’s press statement read:

“Effective today, in an effort to see that no legal mistakes are made by LaRue Tactical and/or its employees, we will apply all current State and Local Laws (as applied to civilians) to state and local law enforcement / government agencies.”

I was recently web surfing and stumbled upon NRA’s ILA site and found the media center that contains a ton of really good videos centered around the political climate. Go out there and take a look for yourself and let me know what you think. Link below.
